International Geant4 Tutorial in Seoul 2014

Geant4 developer team (Makoto Asai, Marc Verderi and Davide Mancusi) will visit KISTI on October 27~29 for a tutorial concentrated to Geant4 version 10.0 for those who have already familiarized to the previous Geant4 versions. During this tutorial, we intend to have bidirectional information exchanges between Geant4 Collaboration and Korean users. Therefore, we also organize the Geant4 user's session in Tuesday morning.

One of the biggest highlights of Geant4 version 10.0 is its multithreading capability. But, as you might have known, Geant4 version 10.0 does *NOT* support multithreading on Windows. Thus, for the tutorial hands-on, we need tutorial participants to bring their laptops of either Linux or Mac. If one needs to use a Windows laptop, he has to connect to an external Linux machine where Geant4 could run remotely. *



The registration form will be opened on Wednesday October 1, 2014.
